I am also doing CFA from ICFAI hyderabad and I have the same question in mind just as yours !!! In this regard I did some research and found the following...
Some not so encouraging findings:
1. I have never seen a freasher CFA .So I have no idea what kind ofjobs they get
2.Most people advice you to do CFA along with some other cources such as MBA or B.Tech
3. In all the jobs they ask for both CFAs and CA's and therefor the amount of computition will be tremendious...
Some bright sides:
1. These days CFA institute is offering an Placement support program, which sounds good as under the scheme you are going to get a Rs.20,000 salary after the course ........Check the latest prospectus for detail
2. The number of students are increasing daily which means that there must be somthing good about it.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS ITS YOUR LUCK AS HE DONT KNOW THE TRUTH ........SO ALSO WITH CFA DO ALSO MBA
