It is important to note that SBI enjoys the strongest brand recognition amongst Indian banks which is helpful when it's expanding its products and services. Following observation of Moody clearly indicates a bright future for SBI.
"Moody have changed the outlook on SBI's financial strength rating to stable from positive. SBI is more likely to succeed in adapting its business to the more competitive operating environment than other public sector banks, due to its dominant size and the quality of its management. According to Moody report although much more competitive, new private sector and foreign banks are currently too small to pose a serious threat to SBIs franchise though this may change two or three years down the line."
