Why RBI, Govt or IBA is not prescribing
standards in Banks with regard
to forms and procedures, operating systems,
functions? Since the standardisation is lacking
IT is costlier proposition to implement
as also substandard quality at different
banks.
No direction/goal is set for banks.
Most of the executives in Banks are IT
illiterates.
Leaving the decision to implement IT
in banks is suicidal.
Can you highlight this to Govt.
What I suggest is High power IT committee
to banking sector is necessary for hardware
/software decisions. As it involves
security/performance accountability
to public it is must.
Will any one hear me.
