| List of Self Certified Syndicate Banks (SCSBs) [September 12, 2008]
There are 57 banks registered with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as Bankers to an Issue
under the SEBI (Bankers to an Issue) Regulations, 1994.
SEBI, vide circular dated July 30, 2008, introduced a new mode of payment in public issues wherein the application money remains in the bank account till allotment in the public issue. The application forms for this payment mode are to be submitted to banks whose names appear in the list of Self Certified Syndicate Banks (SCSBs).
As on September 12, 2008, there are 10 Self Certified Syndicate Banks (SCSBs)
(i) State Bank of India
(ii) ICICI Bank
(iii) Corporation Bank
(iv) HDFC Bank
(v) Union Bank of India
(Vi) Axis Bank
(Vii) IDBI Bank
(Viii) Kotak Mahindra Bank
(ix) State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur
(x) Bank of Baroda
