Message :	The agricultural credit disbursed by Public Sector Commercial Banks has increased substantially during the last four years as may be observed from the data furnished below by government in parliament: Rs 42,211 crores(2003-04) Rs 65,218 crores(2004-05) Rs 94,278 crores(2005-06) Rs 1,14,480 crores(2006-07) Nationalised Banks provide Rabi and Kharif loans to farmers as per the guidelines framed by RBI. According to government, there is no specific report regarding deprivation of the farmers for Rabi and Kharif loans by the nationalized banks.
