Banknet Group & Six Sigma Films announces new initiatives under COFFI - Film Finance

An initiative of Banknet Group & Six Sigma Films, COFFI- Conversations on Finance & Film Industry - aims to establish an important industry forum for discussions and activities related to film finance and production. COFFI would bring decision makers of media and entertainment industry as well as bankers and investors, both private and public, from across the world to work together.
Conference on Film Finance on 27th April 2012 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai was the first initiative under COFFI, which received encouraging response. Film Finance Conference had participation of nearly 150 and it was addressed by 20 eminent filmmakers, lenders, investors & media professionals.
The COFFI – Advisory Council will embrace members from the entertainment & financial industry which will comprise of eminent filmmakers, producers, directors, venture capitalists, angel investors and senior professionals from legal, accountancy, marketing, distribution domains.
Mr Anurag Khanna Chairman & MD, Banknet Group has announced more initiatives under the aegis of COFFI. He has announced launching of Film Finance Awards 2012 to recognize and reward people associated with film financing activities. Also a publication on Film Finance is expected to be released in 2012.
According to Mr Khanna, COFFI Chapters to bring filmmakers and investors from various countries are being planned and first chapter may start in Los Angeles shortly.
