Mr G Murlidhar appointed Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Limited
DELHI, June 23, 2011:
Mr. G Murlidhar has been appointed as the Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Limited (Kotak Life Insurance).
Mr. Murlidhar is one of the founder members of Kotak Life Insurance. He has served the company in various positions of high responsibility over the past decade and was the company’s Chief Operating Officer in his immediate prior assignment. It is largely due to his efforts that the company was able to establish a strong operational and service backbone dovetailing into a highly efficient distribution network. Mr. Murlidhar is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and Cost and Works Accountant.
Speaking of his priorities in the new role, Mr. G Murlidhar said “I am committed to build on the strong business franchise and goodwill we have created over the last decade. We will work towards sustained value creation and efficient use of capital. Special emphasis will be placed on bettering the customer proposition and better cost management, factors which in the past have stood us in good stead”
