Banknet has instituted Banknet Excellence Awards, a first of its kind which will award individual performance, rather than organization in various sectors and facets of Banking Sector. It aims to set benchmarks for recognition of banking talent.
Personnel working at the top of the pyramid are generally faced with most challenging situations and also, it is to them that the bank can majorly attribute its successful performance to. Best performing banks are often accredited by various agencies, but individual faces behind these successful performances are often unnoticed.
According to Mr Anurag Khanna, Chairman & MD, Banknet Group, it is a call of time to take this step forward and recognize these talents in the banking sector. These awards will notice and acknowledge the real faces behind the success stories.
The selection procedure for the award would start with the first call of nominations. Nominations in multiple categories are possible if the individual is heading more than one division/function within the banks.
Award categories that have been included to reflect the shifting sands of the industry. No longer is there a generic set of functions denoting this sector – instead there is a vibrant arena of activities and specializations reflecting the banking industry.
Excellence Awards will also include special awards for IT & ITES companies and vendors who have contributed in Efficiency, Effectiveness, and Enhancement of banking systems.
