Annual Policy Statement for the Year 2009-10

Dr. Y. Venugopal Reddy, Governor, in a meeting with Chief Executives of major commercial banks today presented the Annual Policy Statement for the Year 2009-10.
This annual policy statement for 2009-10 is organised in two parts.
Part A covers Monetary Policy which provides an assessment of the Macroeconomic and Monetary Developments, the Stance of Monetary Policy and Monetary Measures.
Part B on Developmental and Regulatory Policies covers Financial Stability, Interest Rate Policy, Financial Markets, Credit Delivery Mechanism and other Banking Services, Prudential Measures and Institutional Developments.
