We should in words of Jaswant Singh provide USA “assistance with no preconditions” against International Terrorism BECAUSE:
First, India should not miss to be part of a strategic alliance which has all developed nations & 3 Top Superpowers US, China, Russia. We can not avoid being part of the civilised world.
Second this is coalition against terror. India is one of the worst sufferer of terrorism for last decade & lost more than any other nation.
Third, India on its own can just wait for its continuing destruction by hands of terrorists as alone it is not capable to do much about the terrorist attacks on its mainland on daily basis.
Fourth, Osama bin Laden’s shadowy ‘Al Quaida’ outfit. is the ‘Enemy No.1’of India
‘Al Quaida’ is the global umbrella for terrorists across the world. Including for those who have Indian blood on their hands.
Fifth, Relations with the Arab world is a non-issue in this case as no one other than Iraq is going to oppose USA.
I am sure like America, 94 per cent of Indian public will agree to my views. Let us fight International Terrorism together, before it is too late.
