Subject: Need for Automation in BPO
Message : I see most of Indian companies talk about providing BPO services and talk all big about it but I really feel they say its IT enabled services but hardly use any IT for Automation but use IT just for the transfer of the data or just as media instead of FAX / Telephone...

I see there are big Opps for Process Automation for BPO industry as it will reduce the cost of operations, Process Improvement, fast turnaround and excellent quality which in turn will give full partner’s (customer) satisfaction...

I have studied various BPO services e.g. Banking, Check processing, Claim Processing, Data Conversion etc. which can get around 20-30% cost improvement if they will use proper process and Operations automations.

Also I suggest existing BPO companies should always go for the continuous improvement in process automations and New / Emerging BPOs should invest a lot of New / Innovative processes..

As I see there are a lot of Imaging Technology based products and solutions which can give most of the automations with reduction in cost and satisfaction in quality...
