An NBFC or a moneylender (as againt a gigger organised lender say, a bank) is typically likely to be more flexible and responsive to borrower requirements by virtue of niche products and niche markets it focuses on. Recenet examples being GE Countrywide Finance or Citi Financials, two emerging NBFCs.
