Reply :	Hi Ayushi ..I am doing my mgmt in Pune ..Strange that you ask that question when ijust asked the same 2 a colleague of mine. ..Actually CAR means the ratio of capital that a bank has and the amount of loans and advances given to borrowers.An adequate level of CAR is around 10 % ..That in fact is the norm which has been prescribed by the RBI for banks to enter insurance .
