Ranjit Tinaikar is a Principal in McKinsey’s Mumbai office and leads the Business Technology Practice in India. Prior to India, Ranjit spent nearly 10 years in New York where he headed the N. American practice in Retail Banking/Consumer Credit operations and IT strategy. Ranjit also heads the Payments practice in India and his client experience includes various strategy, operations and technology engagements over a wide range of payment services (cards, cash management, mobile payments, etc. across major banks in N. America, Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining McKinsey in 1999, Ranjit served as an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University and Columbia University. Ranjit received a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.Tech. in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (1991) and a B.E. in Computer Engineering for the University of Bombay, India (1989).

Raj Kamal is an Associate Principal from the New Delhi office of McKinsey & Company. He has worked extensively with banking, securities and asset management clients in India, South-East Asia and the Middle-East across business strategy, operations and organization issues. Prior to joining McKinsey in 2003, Raj has worked for 8 years in the Indian Administrative Service. His experience in the Govt. includes policy shaping and implementation. Raj Kamal holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, and a B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai

Hemang Bhojani is an Engagement Manager in the Mumbai office of McKinsey & Company. Prior to 2008, he spent two years working out of the New York office and has served Financial Institutions in North America and India. From a functional perspective, his experience spans strategy, customer segmentation, sales force effectiveness, marketing, IT outsourcing and off-shoring, operations, performance management, organization and risk. Hemang has an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
