Dr. Gita A Kumta has over 30 years of industry experience with 27 years experience in business analysis and consultancy in banking and finance systems. Presently Dr. Kumta is head of the Information Systems faculty at NMIMS and specializes in Information Systems and Knowledge Management. She is a member of the Academic Council and the Board of Management of the University.
She has done her Masters in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta. She moved on to IT after over 11 years exposure to planning and Management Information Systems in banks (IOB). During her tenure of over 15 years at CMC limited, she handled projects covering analysis, design, development and implementation of software systems in areas such as Retail banking, Trade Finance, Treasury, Risk management and Management Information Systems.
Prof. Chandan Dasgupta has over 23 years experience in banks in various capacities.e was actively participating in Institution level activities at Dena Bank where he was the Assistant General Manager before he moved on to Academics. He set up the Leasing Department of the Bank and was involved in organizational restructuring of the Bank.
He is an M.B.A .in Finance, AICWA, CAIIB and is currently pursuing Doctoral studies. Prof. Dasgupta is presently Associate Professor at NMIMS in the area of Finance.
Mr. Anurag Khanna is associated with the Indian Financial Sector for more than 2 decades. Joined State Bank of India as Probationary Officer in 1983. He was top Indian official in the Fuji Bank & assisted in setting up their first Branch in India at Mumbai. His main focus in the banking career has been in the areas of business promotion, corporate banking, credit & International Finance.
He has led Banknet India from concept stage to making it a major Brand in banking & IT industry worldwide. He is regarded as an authority on banking, BPO & banking technology issues.
He has contributed in publications like CFA, Business Today, Business Standard, Express Computers, Journal of Indian Bank Association,CNETAsia etc. He has been quoted by Reuters, Economic Times, Times of India, Doordarshan, CTV etc. He has been panelist/speaker in major conferences globally.
